Finished compost is being put in the garden around the plants. When these bins (Photo 1) are almost empty, they will become the new units for the organic material such as orange peels, coffee grounds and grass clippings. The current bin for this (Photo 2), as usual, needs to be turned and chopped a little! It's hard to keep up sometimes, but Mother Nature will continue to do the work anyway. Photo 3 is a view of the garden with the sunflowers in the background. The seed packet said they will grow to 12 ft, so we will see about that! Photo 4 is the area where the "black gold" compost will be put now and Photo 5 is a particularly magnificent lily.
